I wanted to take a little space to thank the people without whom this site wouldn’t have been possible.
Of course, without Nobuhiro Watsuki I never would have been writing Kenshin fan fiction. Also, I’d also like to thank the animation creators. Without them I probably never would have heard of Kenshin.
Cadmus Kyrala, whom I credit with (or blame for, depending on the situation) getting me into anime in general and Rurouni Kenshin in particular. He also provided me with assistance on the Japanese translations of attacks; without him I really would have been nowhere. (Bear in mind that I foolishly kept going without his help, and all current errors on that front are entirely my fault.)
As I said on the attack list page, the books I used for translations were the Random House Japanese-English English-Japanese Dictionary by Seigo Nakao (1997) and Kanji & Kana Revised Edition by Wolfgang Hadamitzky and Mark Spahn (1997). Another book I got some valuable information from was The Samurai Sourcebook by Steven Turnbull (1998). (That was a gift from Cadmus, so I’ll thank him again for that.)
I should also thank Ken Keller, Jr., who has been very gracious in giving me some computer advice over the years.
Anipike.com - To the best of my knowledge, this is the only place on the Internet which links to my site, so I'm very grateful to them.
Maigo-chan's Rurouni Kenshin Manga Translations - Here's where you go if you want to read the Revenge story, which starts in volume 18 of the manga. Good stuff!
Sasuga Japanese Bookstore - A good place to go to buy the manga.
My name is Todd Rennells. I have lived in Mesa, AZ since 1998, when I left the Army. I got into anime (for real) around 2000. My favorite anime is (and ALWAYS will be) Revolutionary Girl Utena. Besides that and Kenshin, I also love Vision of Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, and Cardcaptor Sakura.
